Dear Tournament Contestant:
Welcome to Greenwood Country Club and the 2008
Festival of Flowers Golf Classic. We hope that you will
enjoy our club and wish that each of you play your best
golf of the year this weekend. The top three finishers of
the event will receive points toward the SCGA Player of
the Year Standings. The following notes and information
are provided to help make your stay more enjoyable.
The 2008 Classic is being Sponsored by Ballentine Ford,
Lincoln, Mercury, Toyota. The Success of the Festival of
Flowers Golf Classic is due, in large part, to the generosity of

Schedule Of Events
Friday Official Practice Round --$18.00 plus tax. Call 942-8861 for a
starting time. The golf shop and driving range will close @ 7:00 p.m.
Saturday A registration table will be set up on the porch of the clubhouse. All
Players must register 30 minutes prior to their tee time. Tee times will
be off holes 1 & 10 between 7:45 and 9:45 a.m. First round starting
times will be available June 18th by calling (864) 942-8861.
Sunday Tee times will be off holes 1 & 10 between 7:45 & 9:45 a.m. with
starting times based on Saturday’s scores within each flight. There
will be a Awards Ceremony at the main scoreboard
at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Dining
There will be a dinner on Friday night. There will also be lunch for all participants on
Saturday after the round.
Greenwood Country Club has arranged for a cash box for any food and beverage
needs that you might have at the Turnhouse (7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) or the grill room
(11:00 – 3:00).
